Host hotel: The Pomeroy Inn and Suites
Rodeo venue: Olds college Braun Arena
Stall rentals: Olds Regional Exhibition $35 per night. Must be pre booked, follow the link below. If you are booking for the whole weekend please choose the $70 option. This is per horse so if you require more than one stall it is $70 for the weekend for each stall. Please make sure you double check that your booking is correct. Payment is going directly to the ORE so any issues will have to addressed with them directly.

Please remember that all contestants are asked to bring a silent auction item to be dropped off prior to the back numbers ceremony on Friday.
Schedule:
Friday - Back numbers Ceremony in the banquet room at the Pomeroy. Doors open at 6:30pm ceremony at 7pm. Bar will be open. Please pick up your finals package and drop off your silent auction donation.
Saturday - Rodeo action starts at 9am. All contestants to meet at 8:30am for grand entry ceremonies.
Banquet in the banquet room at the Pomeroy. Doors open at 5pm. Dinner served at 6pm. Awards ceremony to follow approximately 7pm. Bar will be open as well as biding for our silent auction.
Banquet ticket information -
$45 ticket - includes entry for the back number ceremony, Four wristbands (Per Family) for rodeo entry for the weekend, admission to the banquet as well as your meal. This year it will be a pulled pork dinner.
$15 ticket - includes entry to the back numbers Ceremony, Four wristbands (Per Family) for weekend entry to the rodeo and entry to the awards ceremony after the banquet.

Sunday - rodeo action starts at 9am. Contestants will meet at 8:30am for the grand entry ceremonies. Buckle presentations will be immediately following the completion of the rodeo on Sunday.
There will be a food truck onsite both days for the rodeo.
Important information:
Please remember if you have not sold and turned in your raffle tickets you are not eligible to attend finals!
You must have attended at least 3 days of rodeo to be qualified to attend finals.
Entries will open October 1st at 9am and close October 15th at 11:59pm. No late entries will be accepted. Fees must be paid at the time of entry.
Note finals entry fees are slightly increased to help cover costs.

At the Crooked Horn Canadian Junior Rodeo Association, we develop the next generation of rodeo athletes by creating real opportunities to compete, improve, and succeed.
As a non-profit supporting youth ages 5 to 18, we provide a fair, competitive, family-first environment where confidence, character, and sportsmanship are built in and out of the arena. With one of the highest volumes of events in the country, our athletes get more chances to run, sharpen their skills, and push their limits
We’re not just building competitors we’re building resilience, respect, leadership, and lifelong connections. Crooked Horn consistently produces top-level talent, with athletes advancing to major stages across North America. As the only association in Canada that qualifies competitors for the Junior NFR, we offer a pathway that’s uniquely ours.

At Capacity
Due to the overwhelming support and incredible response we have received for CHCJRA, memberships filled much faster than anticipated. To ensure we continue to provide the best possible experience for all members, we have now reached membership capacity and are no longer accepting additional memberships at this time.

2026 Finals - Olds Alberta
We’re heading back to Olds for another great Finals weekend, November 6–8 at the Brawn Family Arena. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the season, bringing together competitors, families, and fans for a full weekend of rodeo action.
We kick things off Friday night with the Back Number Ceremony at the Pomeroy Hotel, then it’s all business in the arena Saturday and Sunday. Saturday night, we come together for the Awards Banquet It’s shaping up to be a strong weekend—we’ll see you in Olds.

We’re excited to share some great news with our Crooked Horn Canadian Junior Rodeo Association community, we’ve officially lowered our event fees for the upcoming season. This is a big step forward for all of our athletes and families, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors. Their commitment to our association continues to create real opportunities for young rodeo athletes to compete, grow, and be part of something special.

With up to 39 events running each day, we create real opportunities for every athlete to compete, improve, and stay sharp. More chances. More runs. More growth.
